Thriller Zumba Party

Thursday, October 30, 2014

Halloween is almost here, but I've been eating treats all month long! To burn off some of that sugar, I thought I'd share one of my favorite Halloween Zumba routines courtesy of my sister Stephanie. She's been a Zumba instructor for years and I love her Thriller routine! She's the cute blonde in the front with all the moves :) Happy dancing!

Our first family trip!

Monday, October 27, 2014

Take me back! We had such a good time on our first family trip to Florida. It was so fun to have a full week of family time and so many firsts with Kenzie. Traveling with a baby is hard, but I loved seeing her little smiles as she played with Kellen on the beach and at different parks.

Here are my favorite places to visit and things to do in Florida: Daytona Beach, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, The Harry Potter parks, and Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. You can see all our pics below!

Running Into Fall

Saturday, October 25, 2014

I love staple clothing items that stand the test of time. This outfit is one of my favorites because it's so versatile! These long boots are from Arizona Jean company and are a steal. The top is from Brass Plum. I'ts long, comfy and I've worn it in summer, fall, and winter. The leggings are from Lulu Lemon, which is a bit pricier, but I've used them for everything! They're actually athletic pants made of incredibly thick spandex material. They're great for any season and I swear more flattering than regular leggings. I consider certain clothing pieces an investment--these leggings are one of those pieces. If you can wear it to work out in, as leggings, throughout your pregnancy, and all year long, it's worth it!

Reverse Front Braid

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

GUYS, this is my first hair tutorial, so please, be easy on me! I wanted to share this reverse front braid because it's my go-to hair style (sometimes I call it the "Elsa hair braid"). You can do it easily on straight hair, curly hair, wet hair, or pretty much any hair type. It's versatile, it's great to get hair out of your face, and I love how it looks. Try it out and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Three Ingredient Pumpkin Cookies

Wednesday, October 1, 2014

Hello! It's October first and I cannot believe fall is here. It's time to pull out the Halloween decorations, the warm sweaters, and make the house smell like pumpkin!

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite and EASIEST cookie recipes ever. It's so tasty and only calls for three ingredients. Yes three ingredients, that's it. My mother-in-law showed this recipe to me years ago, and I fell in love with it immediately! Without further ado, here is my favorite fall treat recipe.

Three Ingredient Pumpkin Cookies

1 (15 oz) Can of Pumpkin
1 cake mix, I like yellow, but spice cake works too
1 (12 oz) bag of chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl with mixer or wooden spoon. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheet. These cookies don't really spread out while baking, so shape them before you pop them in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Enjoy!
