DISNEYLAND PARIS DAY

You guys!! I’m so excited to share this one — we spent the day at Disneyland Paris and it was honestly something I’ve dreamed of doing for YEARS. The girls were in heaven, I was totally swooning over the castle, and we packed in SO many rides, snacks, and magical moments that I just had to film it all. 

This vlog is full of our favorite things we did — from classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and Snow White, to the cutest little Alice in Wonderland labyrinth, and don’t even get me started on the fireworks and drone show at the end 😍💫

WHAT TO DO AT DEL CORONADO IN SAN DIEGO

Have you ever been to Del Coronado? It's this beautiful island that's connected to San Diego by a large bridge. On the island you'll find this historical hotel called Del Coronado. Kellen and I have always wanted to stay here and we finally did on this trip. It actually was a spontaneous decision and it was really fun! LEGOLAND SEA LIFE AQUARIUM IN CALIFORNIA!

We went to SEA LIFE AQUARIUM at LEGOLAND CALIFORNIA! This was a great little aquarium to visit and we were very happy it was open since the other parks at Legoland are not currently open. Masks are required and it has limited capacity to ensure social distancing. We will definitely be back to experience the rest of Legoland. OUR 11 YEAR ANNIVERSARY + GRAND AMERICA HOTEL ROOM TOUR

Kellen and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary this month! We went to Salt Lake City in Utah to stay at The Grand America Hotel for the evening. We ate a really yummy Italian restaurant called Michelangelo's on Main that was within walking distance. We also saw some peaceful protests going on during this time as part of the Black Lives Matter movement. As far as the Grand America Hotel goes, it was very spacious, clean, and beautiful. We had a great time and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a 5 Star Hotel to stay at in Salt Lake City, Utah. Later at home with the kids I show some of the new things we got on sale at the Disney Store online. I also show two of my new favorite shirts for summer. One from Etsy and one from Old Navy. Boston + Family Pics

We made it to Boston! It was a very long move, but we are so grateful for all the help from family and friends. 

We've been here for over a month now and are so happy it's starting to feel like home. We love our ward, all the things there are to do here, and any family time we get exploring Boston!

The Charles River

Fenway Park

Walden Pond

and The Boston Public Gardens

This is the first time I've ever lived outside of Utah, and I still can't believe we live on the East Coast now! But Kenzie is having a blast and loving all these new places to explore. 

Also, baby sister is due in three weeks!

Summer 2016 Updates

Oh my goodness, it's been a while! 

I'm sorry for the overdue update, but we've been keeping busy! Here's a little rundown of what's been going on in our family for the past few months :)

December: I launched my tee shirt company, Happily Hezface Tees! It's been a huge learning experience, and I'm still figuring out how to run a small business, but there's something I love about creating these fun shirts!

I'm glad I decided to just jump and start this adventure, even though it has been a lot of work! I'm also so grateful for all the support from friends and family. Thank you! <3

January: We found out we were expecting baby number two in October!!!! The first trimester was hard. I get really sick and have no energy for weeks, so chasing around a busy, hyper active toddler was near impossible. Thank goodness for all of Kellen's help.

March: Kellen got accepted to Harvard and we went to Boston to check out the area! You can find a little Vlog of our trip here.

April: Kellen graduated from UVU with honors! Woot woot! So so proud of this boy and how incredibly hard he worked to get here. He went to school through summers, over family trips, and had to sacrifice a lot, so we're so happy to get to this point and so excited for him to spend more time with us this summer!

Sooooooooo, we are getting things ready to pack up and move. It's exciting, and scary, and feels like a big new adventure, and I'm hoping that I can handle a toddler and a newborn while in a new state!

We're also finding out the baby's gender this week! I really go back and forth daily on whether it's a boy or a girl. I've had a lot more people say they think it's a boy...so we'll see!

June will be a big month for us, Kellen and I celebrate our SEVEN year anniversary, and Kenzie turns 2! I've been planning her party, so stay tuned for that :)

It's been a little chilly so far, but I know that warm weather is just around the corner! I'm getting my Summer fun check-list all ready.

Summer, here we come!

Happy New Year Darlings!

What a year! Isn't it crazy to look over the past twelve months? Though some days might feel insignificant, all together the ups and downs of everyday life make for an amazing year in review. I decided to share some of my favorite memories from 2014.

The husband and I were thrilled to find out we would be having our first baby.

And after endless guesses, we found out it was going to be a girl! 

A little later in the year, I was so excited and absolutely honored to be a part of UVU's Alumni magazine.

Then the pugs and I celebrated birthday month in March--like party animals.

 

Then came third trimester in late spring.

Then in May I released the final book in my Shapeshifter trilogy, The Secret of Darkwood Castle. I was overwhelmed by your support! 

In early June I celebrated my five year anniversary with the love of my life. 

Then.........Our sweet baby girl came in late June! 

Our lives became completely centered around our little girl, and were were so excited to bless her in September.

A little later in fall we went on our first family trip to Florida (traveling with a baby was a whole different experience).

In the past couple of months, we watched this blue-eyed babe grow up WAY too fast before our eyes. 

So much happened in 2014 to our little family and I can't what to see what new adventures 2015 has in store. I hope you had a wonderful year and wish you much happiness and success in this new year! 

Our first family trip!

Take me back! We had such a good time on our first family trip to Florida. It was so fun to have a full week of family time and so many firsts with Kenzie. Traveling with a baby is hard, but I loved seeing her little smiles as she played with Kellen on the beach and at different parks. 

Here are my favorite places to visit and things to do in Florida: Daytona Beach, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, The Harry Potter parks, and Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. You can see all our pics below!
